Information |
This license is very important, so be sure to bring it with you, as
I need it prior to the ceremony.
You can obtain your required Florida Marriage License at any court
house in the state of Florida, between 8:00 and 5. You will need
photo ID and know the date of a final divorce decree, as well as the
date of death of a former spouse. The fee is currently $93.50 for
non residents and for Floridians, you have a 3-day waiting period or
you can attend a class on marriage and with a certificate of
completion, the waiting period is waived and the cost is $61.
You can pay by cash, travelers check, money order, personal check or
credit cards. After the ceremony, I will file the license with the
court house and you will receive a certified copy in 10 days, which
you will need to change your name. I will give you a photostat copy
with your photo album the day after the ceremony. You can view more

The Clearwater court house is at 315 Court St. just before you go
over the Memorial Causeway at Ft. Harrison and Court Streets. |
